On June 23, 2022 Dean of the Faculty of Navigation - Paweł Zalewski, PhD, DSc, AFNI, Assoc. Prof. of MUS and Dean of the Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport at the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Peter Vidmar, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on ​​research and education cooperation between faculties, including student and academic exchanges under the Erasmus + program. Prof. Vidmar and his research team have been cooperating with FoN for many years - as part of the MAGS project for the European Space Agency (News - The first technical meeting of MAGS project - Maritime University of Szczecin (am.szczecin.pl)) and currently in SmartSea project (described in the gallery) implemented under the Erasmus+ program. The Memorandum of Understanding formalizes the existing cooperation and is an introduction to further agreements specifying project and academic cooperation between the FoN and our partners in Slovenia (Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport (uni-lj.si)).
