On 19 February 2020, Navigation Faculty Dean, Prof. Paweł Zalewski attended a ceremony commemorating 100th anniversary of the creation of the Polish Hydrographic Service, co-organised by the Hydrographic Office of the Polish Navy, Hydrographic Support Unit of the Navy, the Naval Academy and the Society of Marine Hydrographers of the Republic of Poland.
On 14-24 January 2020, IMO's Sub-Committee on Navigation, Communications and Search and Rescue met at its 7th session.
